Credit Unions

A credit union is a profit sharing, democratically run financial co-operative which offers convenient savings and low interest loans to its members. The members own and manage their credit union themselves.

Brent Council does not offer this service directly. However, a credit union has been set up by the New Commitment to Kilburn SRB. The funding for this project is in it final year and the credit union is specifically aimed at the residents of the South Kilburn area.
