Notice is hereby given under Section 87 (2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that a casual vacancy exists in the office of Borough Councillor for the Wembley Central ward of the Borough of Brent.

To prompt a by election, any two electors in Wembley Central ward may submit a written request to the Returning Officer requesting an election to fill the vacancy.  

The Returning Officer must then set a date for the election which has to be within 35 working days of receiving that letter.
