Due to engineering difficulties experienced by Morrison's working on behalf of National Grid it is necessary to extend the duration of the road closure.
National Grid Gas has requested a further ten working days from Monday 2 March to perform works on site to the point where two-way traffic flow can be reinstated.
The diversion route in place will remain until East Lane is re-opened.

Brent Council would like to reiterate that Clarendon Gardens does not form part of the diversion route but needs to be kept open to enable local residents access to their homes. At present a number of motorists have sought alternative routes of their own which has caused problems for local residents, we are aware of this and are trying to address these issues.
