Driving delays in Hillside, Stonebridge NW10

Drivers are being warned that delays are possible in Hillside NW10, Stonebridge, for up to eight months to enable essential changes to the road layout.
 
The first of seven phases of works will commence on Friday 27 February 2009. The works form part of the Hillside Improvement Scheme and involve the temporary closure of footpaths near Shakespeare Road and a newly created road, The Avenue.
 
Hillside at certain phases of the operation will be controlled by two temporary traffic lights and some delays can be expected.

Works are estimated to finish 27 November 2009.

The scheme is to construct a Tescos store, medical centre and housing.
