Travel problems near Northwick Park Hospital

11/02/09 6.30pm A number of patients have been safely evacuated from Northwick Park Hospital after a fire broke out earlier this afternoon. Brent residents are being advised to avoid the Watford Road area near the hospital where traffic is congested.

Any relatives who are worried can call the hospital on 020 8869 2444. Relatives picking up patients from the hospital are advised to do so by going to outpatients near the main entrance. More information is available from the North West London Hospitals NHS Trust website.
