Five hours per week plus the opportunity to work extra hours

 

You will be required to teach young people the skills they need to successfully complete a qualifying Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DEA)
expedition at Bronze or Silver levels.

 

The role will include supervision of groups whilst on expedition
and assessment of school DEA groups.

 

A flexible approach is essential as the role will involve working at
least one evening a week and up to six weekends per year.

 

Significant experience of working with young people and a
recognised qualification in outdoor pursuits, or similar relevant
experience is required.

 

A willingness to undertake training to further youth work or technical skills is desirable.


You must possess good communication skills and be a team player.
