The Central Finance Team is a very busy, friendly team based in Wembley. We provide finance assessments and support functions to all Community Care Adult Services within the London Borough Brent.

 

We are looking for someone with good administrative and IT skills, an interest in accounting and a basic knowledge and understanding of DWP benefits. Good interpersonal skills and good communication skills both verbal and written are essential, as the job deals with external agencies i.e. Department of Works and Pension, Primary Care Trusts, Residential and Nursing Care Establishments.


You will be required to carry out financial assessments to calculate the client contribution for clients receiving residential or nursing care and community care services. You will also provide administrative and finance support to the rest of the Central Finance Team.

 

Experience in data input, filing, photocopying, scanning, organising, prioritising own workload, dealing with people, numerical and interpretation of data skills are required, however full training will be given.
